Our translation rates fulfill ethical industry standards. This pricing was determined by our founder and the team through discussion and research and has been adjusted periodically according to the economic landscape. Translation is a job that not only requires languages skills, but also writing skills, experience, and knowledge in the subject matter. Our company specializes in art, and therefore our translators have abundant knowledge and experience in the arts and culture field. Our editors are also professional art writers, who bring in their expertise when they edit the texts. Therefore, the pricing reflects the value of the expertise that our team is able to provide for the various services offered at Artoka.
In order to provide high quality, satisfactory translations for our clients, we believe it is imperative to provide fair and meaningful working conditions for our translators and editors. We ask for your understanding, as it is our goal to continue providing the best services that we can.
Artoka
Artoka is an artist-run translation and revision company. The director lives in Quito, Ecuador and our translators and editors are based in New York City, Los Angeles, Texas, Melbourne, and Japan. It is our mission to support international artists, writers, museums, and art and culture organizations.
Please note that as a principle, I only read and answer work-related emails during business hours in Ecuador, which are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. Thank you for your understanding.
