At ARTOKA we are committed to working in dialogue with our clients to assure that we provide accurate translated texts. We strive to stay true to the original Japanese, while presenting a final product that will read effortlessly and fluently in idiomatic English. To that end, our teams of translators and editors work closely with each other through a series of drafts, while the project manager communicates with the client.

Service:

ARTOKA's typical workflow process is as follows: First, one of our bilingual speakers translates the Japanese text into English. Second, a native-English speaking editor revises the text and performs any necessary formatting. The translator and editor then confer and make further revisions if appropriate to ensure that the translation is true to the original text. In circumstances when the translator needs further clarification on a section of text, the project manager will communicate this to the client to ensure complete understanding and accuracy of the translation.

We also offer editing services for both languages if you already have a text that has been translated and are only looking for editors.

Price:

For JP to EN translations: Starts at $0.13/Japanese character

EN to JP translations: Starts at $0.20/English word.

The price varies depending on the length of the text, target date for completion, and, in some cases, the nature of the document to be translated. Please inquire to receive a free estimate.
